after the bad news of my car deciding to cark it.. im looking at buying a v6 stato from my brother in law, problem is. It WAS regd in NSW. brought over here and has just been sitting in his driveway unreg..
what do i have to do to get it regd in SA..
simple walk in reg? or do i have to get it checked out?

It will need an ID check check i believe. They used to do this down the road from regency inspection station. But i've hard some people say you dont need to go there now days?
Maybe just call Transport SA for confirmation

I got one from NSW a few years ago, I just had to take it to the police station to get them to confirm the VIN and engine number. If you are close to Adelaide they will probably send you to regency like said above.

oh also. is it legal for the back "Statesman windows" to be Tinted i would say 18% or would they need to be removed like the rest to stay legal?
