South Australias darkest legal tint

so ive seen some cars cruising round with very dark tints like maybe between 5 and 15%, the legal is 30 or 35% i believe.

Do many people here have dark tints?

I have the darkest legal and its pathetic does nothing, big waste of 180 bucks.

Id like to get something darker but is it worth the hassle?

And if so where can i go to get these dark tints done?

darkest is 35% as verynice said, and if you have 5-15% good luck looking out the windows at night, looks, but if you have a dark colored car it wont do to much when it parked in the sun, but while cruising its good.

I dont know how dark my parents cars are, But they have legal tint done by Scorpion Window Tinting, Its almost black as ay, No trouble with cops so far either.
They are about $300 for a full sedan tint, You get a life-time warranty.. so yeah, Dads had all his cars tinted there

i got it done about 4 months ago at tint a car lonsdale RUF 231.
i told em id had a quote of 190 elsewhere and asked what they could do and did it for 180. great job too.

have many people here been done for dark tint since the new % has come into law?

i got legal 35%(i wanted darker) and i see people with 15% and they don't get hassled

LOL thats just typical sapol. They can defect you for what ever they like. Wether its legal or not.......

Tell them to pull out there Tint tester or w/e

When I got my defect off my car, Copper was like "uh thats really dark tinting you should pull it off, but i dont have my tester.. so just be warned.. you might get pulled over and get told to take it off" :\

I have 5% tint on the side slider and rear of my Hiace (which is perfectly legal here given the car and windows tinted) and I can say honestly if you are thinking of going that dark (in a car) you are a retard. It's nearly impossible to see out of and the first cop that looks at you will pull you over.

i wouldnt get 5% maybe 15 or 20, see how i go
