I'm new to this forum and I would like to know of the best car for me when thinking of a family car, i want a wagon in auto, as many options as possible safety features a must but i cannot differenciate between all the models. could someone list the models and which one would be best for my needs? Thanks and by the way I LOVE HOLDENS! Thanks for your help!![]()
i reckon if you could track down a vx wagon with a gen 3 in it, that would be your best bet......depends how old you want to settle for as well
thanks but whats a gen 3?
the gen 3 is the all alloy chev V8 that was introduced to the holden range in 1998 (?) one of these with an auto behind it would be a pretty good family car, the biggest thing would be actually finding one.....
ok, dont want to spend over 15,000 dont want v8 sorry i'm a chick not really into all the power stuff and sorry that i didnt know what it was...not really wanting to go the full hog just want a nice lookin wagon that doesnt just look like a family wagon....thanks
I'm a mechanic, and have been for 12years, look 4 a VT Series 1 or 2 acclaim 1997/1999, good car my wife drives one daily. Easy 2 fix, cheap on fuel, has air bags, traction, abs, seat belt tensioners all standard, lots around for $12,500 to $13,500, buy one with as low kms as you can afford, dont look at anything over 200,000kms.
