just wondering if anyone has delt with the premium warranty australia, i have brought a landcruiser after my 4runner was written off and got a warranty with it, im wondering if anyone has actully canceled a policy as when i rang they said they might not be able to cancel it but they would need it in writing and check with the manager,

I actually canceled a warranty policy on a car I bought, but I canceled it there a the dealers before I drove away with the car.Did you purchase the car from a dealer or private sale? Depending on the price of the car the warranty usually starts from $1000 this is what you would be getting back if you canceled it,so Im thinking that the warranty amount on your car must be a fair amount thats why they are reluctant to cancel it,they dont wish to refund the money.

it was purched in a dealership, the total cost is $1288 with monthly payments for 12 months, i have already made the first payment and re thought about it and came to the decision that i shouldnt need the warranty as i can do my own servicing for free and to rebuild the motor if it comes to it is only 1200, and ill be able to do the labour myself.
