Anyone had success with removing heave duty dirt from duco?
In particular, tree sap and related stains from sitting under a gumtree for a month or two.
Any solvents that will work without destroying the paintwork?
Thanx
Matt
I had some bad discoloration on my work ute and used bleach & a cap of turps in with my normal car wash, it got rid of a hell of a lot of crap. Then I gave it a really good wax and it came up tops.

always try solvents in a small test area on their own first usually turps if fine with automotive based paints, metho reacts badly to acrylic and not much hurts 2pac

You could try some MEGUIAR'S Scratch X. It seems to remove a lot of crap, but tree sap, like bat ####, might have eaten into the paintwork.....
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
Have you tried a claybar?
