About midway along the side of the car. Have a look underneath for the semicircular cut out of the under the side skirt, and line the jack up with that

I know that the recommended jacking points were changed for the VR and VS,Im not sure about the VT and later models though, but the VN and VP rear jacking positions were just in front of the rear wheels. On the VR/VS it was moved along towards the front further.Around half way along the sill.

just saying people can tell you 20 different wrong answers. so for questions like that youd probly want the exact answer first right instead of a car falling on you cause someone said put the jack under your car near the wheel on the closest bit of metal.

Mate, most answers that are given on here are pretty much correct,so I dont see why you think most are wrong..Ive seen a lot of "so-called" professionals give wrong information,Ive also seen workshop manuals that have had mistakes in the info they give,so who do you actually believe when your not sure?.Id prefer to ask on here first before anything else,at least you might get 1 person who knows exactly what you mean or someone who has had the same problem before and fixed it.Most people who get on here and give wrong info get told pretty quick that they are wrong. The thing is,NO ONE is 100% right, 100% of the time, people know this when they get on here.Ive been fixing and driving cars for 30 years now,and the technical info that goes through this website is pretty bloody good....I wish I had this info available years ago when I was just starting out.

Hey mate, fairly sure the jack point is about half way up and has a half circle type thing cut out of the metal. From memory, it should also have a diagram on the jack.

Good luck and chuck axle stands if crawling around underneath!
