Car registration transfer question..
Currently I have a VT S with rego until Feb 2012. I am buying a VT SS with rego until only the 21st of this month. Can I get the registration existing on the VT S switched over to the SS?
pretty sure you have to cancle the old rego and they will give you some coin back for the remaining rego .

Oh yeah I see. It's just that I just paid 12 months rego on the 6 not long ago, and have now decided to get the 8 but has hardly any rego on it. From what I've gathered, it is much cheaper to renew than to re-register?? I'll have to try and get the RWC and renewal done before the 21/3.
are you planning on keeping the six ? if not why in the hell would you kill the reg on it ... much easier to sell it with reg ....
