Default Anyone know if these will scrub?

    Hey guys,

I'm chasing getting a set of 18"s with 235/40/18R (which will fit), but i wanted to know if they wont scrub without rolling the guards.

I got SL front (which should be okay) but SSL (ultra low) in the rear. Mainly asking people who know that have had their lowered.

I would ASSUME the rears would, but maybe get away with it, but the fronts i'm not sure of (i think they should be fine?)

Anyone that knows and can answer asap, thanks

    EDIT: Sorry, on a VY

I reckon they'd be ok. I've got a mate with ultras on the back and XHP jet 19's and he did scrub on the rear a little.
I forget what tyres he has but I would have thought you'd be safe. But get a second opinion, I've been wrong before

I'll see what about people say aswell, I just want to make sure because a set of 18's in black/chrome lip with brand new tyres aint bad haha

yeah would usually be, but most of 'scrubbing' issues come from different wheel offset.

a genuine commodore 8 inch wide wheel will have a +48 offset.
