Removing VT accelerator pedal???

Omg I am probably just stupid and there is some special technique but how the hell do i get the plastic clip off out of the metal "C" style clip so that i can slide the accelerator cable out??

It is so dam fidly down there and it cains to try push it through... here is the clip im tgalking about but mine is totally pushed through and is yellow..

Nobody has any clue? Dang spose ill take it to the mechanic to fit haha
