Tyre Question

Hey guys, I feel like a retard asking this but I can't find the answer anywhere.

If a tyre is a 225 does that mean it is 225mm wide? There is no reason it wouldn't
but I would love some clarification. Sorry for the poor question

Yes it will be 225mm wide at the widest part of the sidewalls when fitted to the recommended width rim.
