Help with replacing key illumination ring light (VT)

Hey does anybody know how to get at the key illumination light on the VT i have no idea, can you just put a screw driver between the two halves of the steering wheel column?

also what globe does it take?

there are screws under the covers holding them together i belive they take a small wedge globe

that's the easiest to replace

with your finger under the lower half of the steering surround , where the key barrel is, there is a hole where you can push it out

you just then replace the globe
