I wanna sell my car but it's not rego'd is it harder to do this etc?
like is there more paperwork or anything like that?
Pretty sure it's just as easy to do privately but it will be harder to sell due to people not wanting to buy a non-rego'd car. Means they have to run it over the pits and get everything up to scratch, etc. With no rego I'm pretty sure, please somebody correct me if I'm wrong, that it's just money for keys. There is no paper work as the only paperwork otherwise is just swapping rego to the new owner.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
yeah man, less people will be interested without a Rego, especially if its an older car.. as if it has no rego it will have to go through the whole roadworthy process again. and if anything is picked up its gotta be replaced before the new owner can dive it again, if it comes with rego the new buyers will see it is somewhat roadworthy, especially if its from NSW or QLD as i think they have to go through a roadworthy everytime their rego is due am i right? .. But theres always paperwork wither or not it has rego.. As theres still transfer papers and everything.. and dont think to be lasy and sell a car without a recipt or transfer papers, as the new owner wont be able to rego it under their name without it...
