need help asap engine change

im in the process of rebuilding my l67 supercharged from my xu6,im going to slap a vs ecotec in there for now as my rebiuild is happening according to the budget.
Will all be ok ? with fitting vs ecotec in there for 6 months? basically can i use a vs engine in a vt??
