Knocking noise

Okay, My engine starting knocking after I went drifting ( Yeah I know its a bad idea ).
I went home and cleaned out the aircleaner. went for a drive stopped did an error check, pulled the engine fuse out. went to start it.. and didnt want to start.. I dont think its the battery because I had a jumpstarter.
What could it be? and could damage be done to the engine? It sounds like a bad knock.

Pretty hard to say if you don't give anymore details.

You could have shagged a main bearing, or a whole list of things. Explain....

Learned your lesson on thrashing cars? V6's in particular dont like high revs. Another engine is cheap as dirt so dont worry too much.

Options: Rebuild, Second hand motor or Buy NEW.

You can buy VN's for what... 500 bucks. Rip out the engine and youll make your money back parting it out.

Yeah true, Might ring up local mechanics to get them to look at it and see what they can do and see my options.. its not a healthy noise.

Don't bother with mechanics till you find a good second hand engine. any reputable wreckers in your area, or VR's in the trading post ?

Bad luck man, really sucks but yeah, I'd be trying to grab a decent 2nd hand motor and swap it over. Good luck
