why dont you seriously just go and race? its so annoying this question gets asked all the time, when it depends on soo many differant things, just go and do it. the only way you will really know..

Look the cars will be similar in stats, it all about timing, it depends if the cars are manual or auto and who gets the foot to the floor first. the best way to find out is to just race

Simply put the Ford does a better V6. The ute will be lighter so if he can get a good start hes going to have a good advantage.

You are going to have to do everything right to win.

just chuck a whole lot of heavy shit in his tray, pump your tyres up, get rid of the spare tyre, sub if you have one, have less that 1/2 a tank of fuel and have your wits about you

lol what?? Does a better V6? The ford doesn't run a V6, unless he's had an engine transplant :P

Honestly if both are auto's and yours is modded I'd give it to the Holden, but not by much.

Pfft V6 and an I6... same shit.

Both had 190 kw. The Ford makes the power at lower revs and achieves more torque at lower revs. The ute is lighter.

Sure the holden has a few mods but lets be perfectly honest... they arent going to make a whole ton of difference.

Its going to come down to who can get their car off the line better, but the ford is going to have the advantage.

nah not the same shit at all. How much does a BF ute weigh? Google says 1620kg for the ute and 1569 for the VZ, though unsure if thats accurate. Anyone?

Wow... apparently the kerb weight for the Ute is actually higher. Thats interesting.

Still tipping the Ford though, however like i said...comes down to the driver.

well there you go!! I'd be interested to see how the op's vz stacks up. Almost 170kg difference but the BF has more torque.
