    Default Wife cant drive

hey i put a set of Zennetti 20's on my ve not more than a month ago and my wife has managed to gutter rash one of them already and scratch the front flare. Now as i have removed the key from her possesion and she is no longer allowed to drive it, does anyone know of anywhere in sydney area that does alloywheel repairs and does a decent job that would be great to know thanks

I know its not Sydney but Spot on Wheels in Wollongong are the best from experience and well worth the extra effort and cost if the rims are worth it. They are just off the freeway at Unanderra and I am sure that do quotes over the phone and you can freight them if you can't get to them. see: Spot On Wheels

Anyone seen those "rim skins"? Apparently you put them on the lip of your wheels (where the damage occurs) and they take the damage from scrapes. I fail to see how they'd protect you from a real deep scrape though.

    These?

I haven't seem them in person but watching some youtube vid's etc on them they seem to do a good job saving the rim from minor gutter rash.

They look good but they probably won't stop major damage - eg someone smashing/grinding into a kerb - particularly a bluestone kerb

The commodore I'll be picking up in a few weeks will be my first large car, so im a little worried it'll be me scraping my rims for the 1st few days!

Oh yeah, they are just good for your average scuff from screwing up a parallel park. Don't think anything will have rims from grinding hard against a kerd of smashing into it.

    It's not bumper cars! lol.
