    Default radial tyrers and white wall flappers??

    hey guys

    just wondering if any1 know why it's not reconmend to run radial tyres when using in wall whit inserts (flappers). is the radial tyre side wall really soft???????????

    basically, the flapper is locked inbetween the bead of the tyre and the rim, so safety is not gaurunteed.

    so you'll be more likely to get a flat or blow out with a radial, and its safer to run a standard tyre

    yeah pretty much man, the chances of it happening are slim to nil, but it CAN happen.....

    cheers mate, I want some fats on the rear and was thinking of some 245 Mickey T's for extra grip. I might have to search for other options instead

    Aint a radial a standard tyre ? seems not so whats the difference ?
