surely someone has a solution that's better than what ive been using.my windscreen is fairly peppered with fine chips cos i travel on country roads a fair bit and i get a build up of grime that so far i've found impossible to remove.i've tried windex, polyglaze, vinegar and water, metho and water etc,etc the list goes on and the grime stays on.any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers
I use a 50 50 ratio of degreaser & water in my 4x4.. Works well....
After you have cleaned it with metho or window cleaner, let it dry and wipe off with a paper towel.
i have to say i was a bit hesitant but i tried it and voila.it works.i'm almost looking forward to driving in the rain cos i'll actually be able to see without trying to look around the line that was made from where my left hand wiper finished its arc, cheers.
it was the degreaser that worked.
What about INSIDE the windscreen? I smoke in my car, so get tobacco haze on the windscreen. Have tried all types of different stuff, but there's always smudges and the haze returns in certain places within a couple of days. Any tried and true methods/products other than not smoking in the car?![]()

Thanks, mate I might give it a try. I use other Maguiar's products and reckon they're good stuff.
