So it has less HP and less torque at higher RPM, wow thats fail. Might as well slam a V6 in there.The VH45DE generates 278 hp (207 kW) at 6000 rpm and 292 lb·ft (396 N·m) at 4000 rpm with a redline of 6900 rpm
I mean sure the engine is tough as, with all is forged goodies, but without some boost the engine is instant fail. Would have been cheaper to make the LS1 bulletproof.

That whole series of photos looks like an elaborate means to conceal a stolen and rebirthed car to me. Pic one says "Bought a brand new body shell", but it's obviously a second hand car in Devil Yellow that he's chopping up. Another pic says he needed the VIN from the wrecked red Monaro to use on the new car. Just look at the cut and shut he's doing - picking up all body id's from firewall and floor pan of the wreck.
If that doesn't say "stolen car", I'm a Dutchman.
A lot of work and the end result still looks like crap.
