Just want to know if anyone knows how to contact Dr Bob other than by his e.mail address via his web site ?I'm chasing a cluster i sent to him a while ago and can't seem to get hold of him .

His last email to me was that he would send the trip computers back in a week and that he had been sick. Fair enough I thought - but now it looks like he has a "track record" of just just not giving stuff back to people.

He still lives at the same address that is on his web site register for the memcals.com..

My brother runs mac and vertual Win7 I think it is for his web hosting and software development. He brags about not being hit with virusus with his mac.

I've emailed him your text to ask him if it's something to worry about.

Only the site hosting it has the power to shut it down. All Google can do is warn people.

That'd be my guess, that or the dude was dodgey from the start and just got picked up on it.

I delt with Rob for over 3 years and spent heaps of $ with him - never had an issue - dont know what I did wrong - but when I tried to help out dayvo with a free VX L3 cluster because Rob had "lost" the original cluster - communication stoped (yep after 3 years of regular communication).

Rob had done lots of work for people on here including me - but was making good money from it to. Over the years 1 by 1 people would complain and it would be sweped under the carpet because of his "good" work in the past.

But enough is enough - all he had to do is say he had an issue and would get on the problem and fix it. Five months of silence is not good enough. Simple as that. Maybe return a call even - or an email - something to give me hope I will get my trip computers & money back. I had already given the VX L3 cluster away as a favour to Rob and to get Dayvo back on track with his L3 upgrade.

Rob has let me down, Dayvo too and I feel the gemneral community of JC's.

Yes you an me both - he claimed to be sick 3 months ago - but on digging up the past few years of so it has been a common claim to make people go away and feel sorry for him.

I'm very understanding in most cases and I have given him about 50 opportunititys to make things right with me - today was the limit.

I've had several whinges over the past 5 months and sooked a little when I was telling my customers that all will be well in a few weeks - but I ended up with egg on my face as they say.
