was listening to the radio today on the way home with the old man, when it came to news time, a coper got on the radio and announced, that they are giving people 2 weeks, to get there cars up to roadworthy standard before they have a massive blitz of pulling cars over and checking everything out ( including mods, such as lowering, tint ect ) and handing out fines for non roadworthy cars and handing out more canary's and possibly taking your car off of you?
if they actually start this crack down, it kind of explains why i've been pulled over in my car 3 times in the last 2 weeks with the L plates on
discuss?
that happens about every 3 months in SA, its called revenue raising!
does keep me in a job tho
but in a way it is a good thing, alot of people need a kick up the bum to get their cars in a roadworthy condition, otherwise people just leave them
Is this all states? I like my VXSS seats.,.
i don't know to be honest man, maybe it might be? but i know its defs for vic
The problem with VIC is there is no annual vehicle check like they do in NSW so there is so many death traps on the roads that its not funny, I noticed the quality of car from when I moved from Newcastle to Melbourne. When I moved down here I still kept up the yearly checks and the mechanic that I use thought I was crazy untill he saw the condition that I kept the car in every year.
more revenue raising .... great
yeah i will give you that one, i have seen some pretty shotty cars on the road, death traps like crazy!
was going to put SSL in the rear but i guess not now haha
Ugh this is going to suck :/
edit: I'm staying on the bike for the next two weeks.
