I hate the look of the analogue dash in a vt, so im thinking about experimenting with making it digital... so far the only thing i can think of to achieve this is to butcher a laptop running some kind of aesthetically pleasing dyno software ( no idea if this will work just a thought).
But before i go and spend money on attempting this i was wondering if anybody has ever attempted this, and if so how they went about it.
I quite like the look of the VT dash but each to their own
It is possible, I would personally use an iPad or something that is going to be more durable in that sort of situation (unsure if there is any dyno software for the ipad yet, I know someone made an ECU adapter cable for it in the states though so I am sure its possible)
If you want to go a laptop I would go a 10" netbook as a full size laptop just isn't going to work in a space that small
Yea, we oen a small 10" or so, possibly smaller not sure. And i agree the dash looks alright, but id love that "video game" lookbackup to the laptop is the telstra t-tab touch, cheaper and smaller plus it is more expendable than a 1200 dollar ipad lol
Just need some way for the cars comp to comunicate with the lappy or phone...
