Howdy all
Just went out to the car and noticed one of my rear 235/45R17's is flat as a tack (huge cut in sidewall)
I've got a 215/65/R14 spare and according to the online Miata tyre size calculator there's 8mm difference is diameter
Obviously not going to be driving a great deal on the 'temp' rim but just seeing if this is not going to damage axle and or diff
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
Are you sure it's not a 15?
Should be fine temporarily I wouldn't do it for too long though
the spare will be the original factory size wheels so it will be ok but dont leave it on there to long because you now have 17's on it.
Well New cars come with those ridiculous space saver ones that are the like 2" wide and 10" Diameter lol, Work mate had to use it on a car with 18s on, So must be ok to use just for a spare for a short trip to repair a puncher.
