Default Commodore wheels on other cars.

I am going to be advertising a set of 4 x 17 inch wheels soon. They suit Holden commodores VB to VZ. Does anyone know what other cars they will fit on? I think BMW has the same stud pattern.

Just because the stud pattern of 5x120 may be the same, The offsets as well as hub size differ.

Yeah thats why VE wheels don't fit on other commodores unless the centre of the rim where it sits on the hub gets machined.

From what I've experienced holdens usually have smaller hub sizes than BMWs so a BMW wheel will fit but not the other way

Well, TO be honest. Just because it may fit, doesnt mean it fits.

Without a wheel being centered on a hub, the cars weight is held on the wheel studs only... Creating massive safety issues, normally ending in snapped wheel studs and wheels coming off.

    Cheers
    Mat

What Hozy said. The hub is a snug fit for a reason.

Ill just advertise them as Commodore rims and whoever is interested in them can decide whether the will fit on there car or not.

Tomorrow ill get a price on new tyres and if I can get some cheap enough ill sell them with new tyres fitted and balanced.
