Front springs interchangeable?

Hey all,
Just wondering about commodore front springs. Are VT-VZ a set or will VR/VS springs fit in a vt-vz? Or does it go back as far as VL..? .. Basically i'm asking, what model springs will fit in my VY haha.

They all fit VB-VZ but will sit at different heights between the different generations as they are all different weights.
I have used a different generation spring in my VS wagon becasue I wanted a 10mm difference not the usual 20mm between say low and super low.
So I bought a couple of different cheap sets from a wrecker until I found the height I was after.

Some VL Low's have come up for sale Locally and I need to put the front of my car around FE2 height so I might give it a shot.
