    Seems to only be a difference in the LSD centers where they are bolted together.??

    looks like the inner bolt mounts on the M78 are taller than that of the M80. see the right side of the ring gear.. or is it just the angle of the photo.

    I pretty sure you are right but I dont have the diff centers to compare anymore
