2003 mazda 6 Idle Problem.

Don't know if this is the right place to post this but my missus has just brought a Sports Luxury Mazda 6 2003 model.

I drive the car from time to time and when sitting at the lights in idle the car seems to vibrate, like the car doesn't want to sit still. only happens in drive the car can sit in park fine, and driving is fine, its just idle in drive.

And also when driving you can hear a very slight humming noise coming from the front left hand side of the car.

We still have the car under warranty but its a 2 hour drive to the next Holden madills. And we dont have time to drive and be told there is nothing wrong.

so if anyone out there has a mazda 6 that could help us out, that would be great.

take it there and get it checked out, the early mazda 6 and 3's did a have a problem with the variable intake manifold runners jamming closed and disturbing airflow, havent seen alot of them play up tho... if there is a problem, usually whoever warrants the car, is billed for diagnosis time too
