It will just peel off. Start at a top corner and try get it loose enough to grab with a craft knife etc

also dishwashing liquid and water in a spray bottle will take the glue off the window

you'll need something like a blade to scrape the glue off. spray the water and dishwashing on as your peeling the tint off then any extra glue, scrape off with the blade. dont do it on the rear window though as you'll scrape the demister off

LH window turned out to be a real task' as even with heat and soapy water, only the top layer of film would peel off.eventually 5 blades and 1 hour later it was clean.I'm not going to attempt the RH window until I've talked to the guys at TINTACAR at Capalaba tomorrow. It may just be this particular tint that is a problem but either way I still appreciate the replies posted cos obviously it shoudl have been easier.cheers

took me about 7 mins per window when i did mine a year back, i used a steam cleaner, what the steam does is melts the glue and makes it so easy to peel off and it comes off in one sheet

I just started at the top corner and slowly pulled it off in one piece. Then soaked a rag in Metho to get the glue off .

Ive found that if u buy a cheap steamer, it will help alot.
i did this in my old VN on the rear window.
i pulled down the courner and the steam melt the adgesive away while i slowly pulled down on the tint.
It is easier with two people tho, one to use the steamer and one to pull the tint off.

finally a use for the otherwise dust gathering steamer.grabbed my son before he left for work so that he could hold the steamer and voila--- 9 minutes later-perfect.cheers.
