Hey all.
When my vy ss idles for extended periods of time (in traffic) it starts to feel like it's missing, revs don't move. Bring revs up and it's sweet for a while. Never miss fires under load or in gear when moving even if I go into 6th below idle revs.
My 3.8ecotech vs used to do the exact same thing in n and drive when it sat idling. I put it down to the missed services in the early stages of it's life but im curious now it's happened again.
My cars are always well serviced every 10k while I own them.
Cheers
Taylor
It is a commodore thing because most of them have factory set idles,so they cant be adjusted. So you need to have the plugs, leads and coils all working correctly.
That makes sense.
Good to know. I'll check my leads and potentially replace the plugs.
Cheers
This occurs in every fuel injected car, different cars your notice it more, when you idle in traffic for a while your fuel mixtures lean off giving you a rough idle, when you set off it riches up and idles smooth again, it's a emissions thing it does not do any damage its just saving the environment and fuel. But if you think your commodores bad get into a bf2 falcon,
