ecu swap problem

hey guys i have an vt v6 auto with a rooted ecu i have another 1 ready to go in but when i do put it in the car wont start any ideas why this is??.

do i need to get it re-programmed??.

Yeah I think you are on the money.. BCM ect have to be paired..

You'll need car and old PCM together at a workshop with a Tech 2 (ie. Holden dealer) because the BCM and PCM have to "unlinked" first, before the new PCM can be linked.
