    Default vt starts then stops

    My wife has a v6 vt , sometimes when you start it it will fire up for split second then stops , it does it a few times then it will go , some people have told me bcm and some ecu

    Couple of different things.

    Could be crank angle sensor or DFI module.

    You need to do a diagnostic check.

    Haha mine does the same thing, I thought it was the CAS but haven't bothered with it yet, been doing it for months, only thing is it does it now and again.. not all the time.

    What does/is IAC VALVE. Im a ford man with an xy , these new cars shit me , its my wifes car she a holden gal

    IAC is the Idle Air Control valve. Basically determines engine idle speed.

    if to much dirt and shit is in the IAC then it sticks closed and car cant idle and will stall. mine did it for a while, not all the time. i found give it some throttle when u start it (tiny bit) then slowly bring the revs down and it should help it sometimes. but it only takes 10min to take off and clean with degreaser and your good to go. if its not that then its worth cleaning anyway and you can rule it out
