    Default Engine ID

    Hi,
Just wondering if someone could help me with identifying my engine that has been replaced in my VX commodore after an engine failure.
    The engine number is VA379844.
Its supposed to be from a VY but......
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.

    VY 9/02 VA259837
    VY 7/04 VA459286

So your engine is more then likely out of a 2003 VY Commodore.

Just not the half that mattered. Sorry.
I used the search button to find that information as well haha.

Sorry to steal the thread but does anyone have the same information but for the Supercharged V6 engines? I want to see if the one I bought is really out of a VY. Thanks
