The local officers seem to have a problem with my car.. It's a black vy ute with 20's and it sits a nice height.. I've bought a new tyre placard sticker to replace the old one but the pigs want to canary it.. I really don't want to change it back to stock! So and excuses or facts I can say to them next time they pull me out would be great! Cheers.

They reckon the wheels are too big and it's too low (it's legal height) but the wheel size is my problem.. Cops are no good!!

they want to defect you for 20's? ive had 20's on my VX for ages now and cops havent said anything, havent even pulled me over to ask me about them. as far as im aware here in WA they are legal with the correct tyre size and load rating.
if they think your car is too low then it probably is, from my experiences there is no such thing as a "legal height". the cop either defects you or he doesnt.

Vk.. Thats what I thought, but they said if they see it driving around again they will defect it.. That's why I'm asking the question is there and legal size or anything about wheel sizes..
I have 19's on my calais Ive been thru booze buses' & pulled over once when i first bought the car coz some how vicroads decided that when I was transferring it in my name the car went from blue to red lolz and they have never questioned the height of my car,exhaust or the rims. in saying that I was never a rude prick or showed them any disrespect. If you comply and are nice so are they ! but I must say there is the odd A-hole but generally the rest are pretty cool!

My vn ss got defected for 5% tint, I expected it it was illegal & I knew that. Got pulled over by a new undercover cop bike after pulling a massive 2nd gear chirpy around a corner so I knew I was in shit, bastard sent me to regency for tinted windows instead of cop shop and for those that have seen my vn ss it is ####in mint all round that was ballshit! some cops are just jealous pricks I went out the week after and bought a vy ss 6 speed. Hoping to get the ss off defect in a few weeks. Mind you this was like a week before the end of financial year and cops have been bloody everywhere round here these last few weeks.
