Places that can drill out ve rims (Vic)

Does anybody know places between Sale, Vic and Eastern Melbourne that are able to bore out the centre hole in VE RIMS to fit VT?

most tyre shops should be able to do it mate, from memory between $60-$80 per rim.

try a machine shop I had a mate pay $20 per rim

had a mate get some done here at bob jane and it was either $60 or $80 per rim.

What I did was instead od machining the steel rims I had new front hubs machined to suit the rims and then purchased secondhand rear hubs and had them machined @ $500 all up.

That sounds like an extremely expensive and long winded way of solving what should be a simple problem. Also you'd have to get a VE spare wheel because the VT-VZ spare would no longer fit.

Theres a place in Braeside where i had mine done.$25 a rim.From memory they were in Redwood Dve.

on a steel rim this would be the correct way, as the strength of the wheel would otherwise be compromised, but not so with mags, thats what ive been told after inquiries to fit 16 cptrs

Hornstra Engineering in traralgon did my ssv's. cost $80 if i remember rightly
