I got a quote today from the local holden parts dealer and it was $150 for a new O2 sensor and about $450 for a new DFI module. Do these prices seem reasonable as i dont know of any place that would sell the DFI modules? O2 sensor ill might grab elsewhere but figured i might as well go with the original if the others are only a little bit cheaper
for 6? can get bosch ones for 100ish? dfi that is

After some ringing around last week Coventries was the cheapest for a genuine O2 sensor for my VN ($88). Universal O2 sensor would have cost me $76. I imagine it would be about $100 for the VY ones. Couldn't tell you about the DFI though.
'88 VN Sedan, stock V6.
You can get the DFI module from Repco mate. They go for roughly $200, part number CM414.
A Bosch direct-fit 4 wire O2 sensor will set you back around $79. Part number 0258005703
