    Default Cars and Curbs...

Well today.. Misjudged roundabout.. panicked and my car was playing bumper cars with curbs and finally last curb and went over a island..
Only noticeable damages was a punctured Tyre.. and a dent in the rim.. which isn't that bad?
I drove it home with a spare and didn't seem out of whack to bad. having different sized tires made it a bit strange to drive..
Going to get a new set of front tires tomorrow (hopefully)

Out of basic knowledge.. what damage could I achieved?

Has to be said but should you be driving if you can't navigate a roundabout and then panic losing control?

Seeing I am in Adelaide too could you pm me when you are going out and advise you route so I can avoid you?

Sigh. Your lucky, Im from the country..
I went around the round about, thought I could merge into a side road.. so I started heading into it.. realized it had to be entered from the other direction.. Panicked and turned the steering wheel to much and front tyres locked up....

Also.. as the old saying goes ' you learn from mistakes ' .. Sash.. can you honestly tell me you've never stuffed up?

I have never lost control of a car. Don't care if you believe me or flame me, I am sure there are others here who are the same as me.

gothickidd: i have done many stupid things in my cars and have learned something each time. BUT now maybe you will understand my comments a while back about your control arm bushes on your ford. if your bushes were worn to the point of freeplay, then that same situation could have gone much much much worse.

and this morning when you woke up, did you forsee your roundabout incident?

im guessing no. so now what you are going to do is learn from this. fix the damage on this car thoroughly and properley, and go through looking for other things you can also fix. for those "just in case situations" in the future.

    ok?

    Familiar?

In all seriousness, that sucks! People do make mistakes and you are lucky it didn't cost a life! Should take some driver training courses where they encourage you to lose control and regather.

    Any pics of damage?

Nope, nobody's perfect. But boy, are you building yourself a reputation on this forum. In the space of a few months, you have blown an engine, driven a car that shouldn't have been on the road and demonstrated your total lack of understanding of what makes a car safe, and lost control on a roundabout.

    That's pretty impressive. Not.

When are you going to start growing up?

And message to Jacko84 - you need to see this bloke's other threads, if you think Ari or I am being harsh on him. He is an accident looking for a home.
