I have a friend who asked me how much would it cost to convert a MANUAL Astra to AUTO???
I think the year of it is in the 2000's, will post the exact year when I find out.
I'm used to the whole VR/VS conversion prices but for an Astra I have noooooo idea.
Idea's guys?
Cheers!![]()
im only guessing but i would say it would be cheaper
the way i look at it, early commodore conversion are quite sort after cause most of them are auto, so they are harder to come by and seller knows that
probably 7/10 astra are manual, so wreckers should have shit loads cause its a fairly common car and the same engine and gearbox was used over a few models for many years. proably pick up a complete front cut of a 97 model for peanuts
Take the price it costs for a regular Holden...and then triple it.

Cheers guys
my girlfriend had an astra (2000 model) it was a manual and she wanted auto, we got quoted 4500$ for the conversion so she just brought a new car.
