89 vn squeak in front when going over bumps?

It really could be a number of things. Im guessing youve still got the original front shocks in there and theyre long overdue for a change.
Ok I'll put new shocks on it and see thanks
Check your sway bar link rods. The bushes at the top tend to chop out and you can get a squeak or rattle from the loose bits moving around. I have had to replace mine twice now (have owned the car since late 98). Not an expensive fix.
Ok I'm going to lower it so I'll check it out then
