My old Michelin Pilot 2's are shot with only 35,000 km on the clock.
Car is an VE SSV Wagon.
Considering either of these 2 tyres. Michelins are quoted at $500 a tyre while the Falkens are $360.
Any suggestions on the right chioce?
What size? I got quoted 235/45/18 pilot sport 3's at $299 each
my dad has a ve sv6 wagon and he enquired about whats the next best tyre for the car other than the bridgestone potenza and the bloke said falken tyres would be the next best thing, potenza's are the same price as the michelins so maybe even have a look at them? they will last about 35,000 to 40,000

I have FK452's on mine at the moment and love them. Look around abit you get them cheaper.
I've run both tyres, in my opinion on a daily driven car i'd go the 452's without a doubt. The pilot3's have a softer compound, wear too quickly though the grip is excellent. The 452's have bucketloads of grip, and on a daily driven normal car their limits will not be tested anyway. 452 for excellent grip and a little more life.

I have the 452's on my clubby and they provide great grip in all conditions. A very sticky tyre for street use and they have never let me down. They are a sticky tyre so don't expect massive miles out of them.
452s - Great value for the performance and life
