Changing VS V8 TPS?!

Hey guys, wanted to know if I can change my TPS in my vs v8 ute?? I have changed the IAC so far because of idle problems, but Holden technician said Dont touch the TPS or replace it!?I have come to a end thinking this may be my whole idle problems since I have checked other things and replaced...has anyone changed their TPS and if so, why does Holden say don't?? Do they just want $$ to book the car in?? By the way they wouldn't give me a reason, already asked..

Ive changed TPS in other cars without any issues. if you can't do it yourself take it to a machanic not holden - they are there just to rip you off
