Hi,
just wondering if anyone here works for holden? i bought a vy 6 stacker stereo at the all holden day at Clarendon on the weekend but the bloke didnt have the code or the books in his ute.
His reason for sale was he put an aftermarket unit/speakers etc in.
i have the vin number (i was standing there when his misses wrote it down), his first name and his phone number which ive tried ringing a few times this afternoon but it keeps going to message bank.
i was just wondering if anyone here that works for holden could possibly get the code for it?

is it just the pin code for the stereo your after?

ive never replaced one so im not familiar with the way it works

yep,just the code for the stereo so i can use the bastard,no other codes...

from what i know theyre individual to the car, you can access the code with a scan tool, but i suspect it would have to be from his car IE it does update when you put a different HU in.

im not entirely sure how it works. hopefully someone else here is more help

holden up here will charge 20-30 for them to print out a little piece of paper with the code on it...

I called Holden down here and asked them for my code. All they asked for was the VIN of my car (you have the VIN of the car that the stereo was from) and they gave it to me over the phone. Just act nice and they'll be glad to help you out
