hopefully you guys can help
Sorry if i have this in the wrong section plz move it if it is.
Thank you for your time
Tom
hey champ
just sold my 1994 rodeo space cab , and to be honest they are pieces of poo , they drive like a truck and have a top speed of a truck lol
and are as thirsty as a truck too , goes thru petrol like anything , more then a commodore
drove it round for a bit and sold it, then jumped into my commodore and it felt like rocket compared to the rodeo
they have heaps of grunt to pull stuff but like I said its like driving a truck around
feel free to shot me some more q's if you want
hello
do they have a holden motor in them? are they easy to service
what advantages did it have
Buy a diesel. I had a 02 4X4 dual cab and it was an excellent work horse. Went well and was economical.
Mine had the 2.8 ltr. isuzu motor, very good motors. I would recommend them to anyone.
nah has the izuzu engine in them the 2.6l engine

never had to service mine as i had it for like 1 month before i got rid of it , but by the looks of it looks like you have to take a few parts off to service them
advantages
large and can carry big loads in the back
can carry like 1 tone or so in the back easy and tow a big trailer at the same time
heaps of room in the cab
low down tourque
handled alright
could go slighty off road
strong body
could tow easy
disadvantages
guzzled petrol
slow off the line and took ages to get up to speed
no power at higher speeds
heavy
interior very plain and shit
drove like a truck and had a very small turning circle
but yeh personally i wouldn't get one , but if your into that whole mini truck thing go ahead
if its only a workhorse a toyota would probably make more sense... not unless you plan on doing mainies in your work ute
I have a '98 4x4 diesel dual cab Rodeo and it has been the most reliable and trouble free vehicle i have owned. A power steering hose is the only problem encountered in 13 yrs and 250000ks. I wouldn't hesitate getting another.
