Indicator stalk help needed, already read through the How To and changed it

Hey guys i am posting to ask about my indicator stalk on my vs which is executive soo no extras and is the same stalk for other models
like vn up to vy aparently i have read through the how to remove indicator talk from ozzie and i did that but now it still doesnt cancel
soo i was wondering what is the part i need that goes on the steering wheel i head a crack 1 day and something fall soo im either blind
or i dunno what im looking for coz its just not there

the indicator stalk itself cancels mechanically

there are tangs top and bottom of it (shroud off steering area)
that you pinch with fingers then you slide it out towards door,

if it wont cancel make sure the tang on the end that inserts into the steering area is still there
(pull it out to check it)

also make sure when you refit it it is pushed all the way in if not it wont cancel
(it will make a light click when pushed all the way in as the tangs you oinch to pull it out locate into place)

Yea thanks I did that and it's a new stalk, even tho the original doesn't look broken I replaced it and I can only think I dididnt push it in far enough i might have too give it a go
