Hi , I need some severe help please. My vy ecotec engine stalls when i take the oil cap off. It has vacuum inder the oil cap. I had this problem as well as a blown head gasket. So i got reco heads and new gaskets. Its pretty easy to put back together. I have run it and its fine on all 6 cylinders but now its suckeing the guts out of the sump. Any ideas. Please help!!!!
And the intake gaskets are fine . They only go on one way. All the studs have sealant on them.

    Hi,

Sounds like your PCV valve is stuck open and allowing the inlet manifold to draw in air when you take off the oil cap. You need to either
take it off and clean it using carby clean or even petrol OR
    replace the valve.

The PCV valve should be free to rattle if clean.

Also there should be a vent line from between the Air cleaner to the throttle body and the valve cover that must be clear and open.

    Hope this helps.
