VZ vs XR6
So just casually rocked up at the lights, this xr6 ute rolls up next to me. I think for sure, I got this in the bag. I plant my foot and so does the ute guy bam he wins by a long shot. As if!!! So are fords really faster than holdens? I always thought holdens had the better speed ratio. I'm just hoping, utes are lighter and he was more forward than I was, that could be a advantage? Fill me in people :P

was your car a 6 cylinder and an auto? if so thats why.. and was the Xr6 a turbo?
my old 2010 model SS ute tied with an xr6 turbo just due to it was at 100km starting speed.
Auto + 6cylinder non whippled = shit

You gotta remember, the VZ's were the trial and first models of the new Alloytec so they weren't up their potential.
That being said, Ford were smart and stuck with the Straight 6 the whole way through, as Holden changed from RB, Ecotec, Alloytec etc.
Pretty sure they have more power though, and straight 6's have more torque.

yeah defiantly more torque. I reckon the go harder too..the xr6 that is..And dude, I dunno about the street racing, this is a public forum and everyone can see what you write.
