I managed to get a xv clubsport front bar (though wrong color) and the solution was pretty simple. Remove fuel cap from car, take to automotive paint place, have them mix the paint according to code and then adjusted to suit car (hence the fuel cap). The paint place can then either give you the paint in a tin or a high pressure pack. The trick to painting anything is preperation. Use a good quality primer, make sure the surfaces are spotless etc. Finally make sure you use a clear coat over the top to protect the paint once done.

or you could just check under the bonnet what your paint code is?
