my vs series111 ute has decide to play games, obout a week ago the odometer stopped working then two days later it spat the engine belt, The tensoner is stuffed, I'm yet to fix that but put the old half belt back on because the new one wants to walk off. Then i had to drive it yesterday and then the engine light come on, the speedo started bouncing then stopped, the stereo turned off and the car started to die when i put my foot down, just made it home,. Would the belt running out of line cause this? or do i have bigger issues? can anyone please help or is it time to upgrade

Its all good thanks anyway. Fixed it all it was the <fusible link burnt out> from alternator causing low system power. Two of the alternator wires had been pinched when i was on highway with no tools trying to put belt back on with jack handle. Rest is good put new tensioner on and new belt, Car is charging again all back to new.
