Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend any cheap companies to ship a bonnet from Sydney to Melbourne for me?
I was recommended e-go but found a lot of reviews that suggest otherwise in terms of delay and lack of customer service when things are lost.
I don't want to get the bonnet here and it's dented, it'll be bubble wrapped but still risky.
Anyone ship car parts and have some ideas?
Cheers

Not sure how you go without an account, but they might be able to help you out with that ofcourse.
They're cheapest of the lot i use at work. for a box that big would only be about $40 max for us. (that being said we have an account)
im using e-go to ship my 454 from qld to melbourne. cheap price, will let you know how the service is.
He man, Slickits in Adelaide shipped a bonnet to me. The first one was damaged but the second one was fine. Call them and I'm sure they will give you a freight company.
Avoid air freight - I've seen car doors getting placed in the hold. When they don't go in easily, the clowns change the angle and keep ramming them until they go in - minus the window frame (well, it's still there, just a little streamlined).
Any of the larger freight companies should be able to do a road or rail service, next day or three day turnaround. If you or someone you know has a freight company they use at work, that can often be the easiest way to go. Just check what insurance is offered (we have none at work because the volume of consignments is so high it would be excessive to cover them - just a risk some companies take).
