Default VT Ecotec upper idler pulley.

Hey guys, I've got to change the upper idler pulley on my son's VT. It's the ribbed one. Is it just a matter of undoing the centre bolt, fitting the new pulley and tightening the bolt? Do I need loctite? And anyone know what torque spec? Thanks.

    No loctite.

And just do it up tight and you'll be sweet.

I think the one on the tensioner is a left hand thread because you need to turn the bolt it anticlockwise to de-tension the belt. Could be wrong but thats what I seem to remember.

OK ,thanks for the replies. I found out today that it is the tensioner that is LHThread and also not to tighten the pulley too much as it's going into alloy.
