I recently spilt some brake fluid on concrete while bleeding the brakes. I washed it off once I was done (~2 hours), and got rid of the oily type residue, but now there is a white residue that I can't scrub off. I have tried degreaser, detergent and it doesn't budge.
One possibility is that the previous owners sealed the concrete surface and the brake fluid damaged the sealer coat, but I have no idea. Anyone experienced anything like this and know how to fix it?
Sounds like your concrete has some sort of coating and the brake fluid has eaten through it. As said above, it's not good stuff. Especially if you forget you have spilt some on your paintwork.

Sounds about right, thanks guys!
